Dept. Round-up: Sept. 13, 2019

  • In case you didn’t know, we have a huge office (pictured above). It’s filled with natural light and ample space to move around for things like workshops. Do you need space to conduct a workshop? We can help.
  • We also have desks for rent in our office for those who need a place to work that isn’t their home or a coffee shop. It’s the same beautiful space, but with some added perks.
  • LEGO recently launched a pilot program for Audio & Braille instructions. This would allow for the visually-impaired to build structures like anyone else. Everyone deserves the opportunity to play. This is an incredible step for accessibility and inclusivity. We are definitely excited to see where this program goes.
  • Have you heard the news? Sam will be presenting with our friend Nette from The Trust for Public Land on October 15th. They will be talking about knowing your audience to create better online communities. It should be an enlightening discussion. Be sure to RSVP.
  • Podcast Recommendation: Check out this new daily podcast from WNYC. It discusses culture at large, as well as the culture in and around New York City. You should give it a listen.

Don’t forget to have a happy Friday the 13th!
