User testing of a mobile site that was intended to function like an app. The main goal was to collect realistic feedback for an outdoor app during the end of winter.
We performed guerrilla testing with users. With a script, we asked users for five minutes of their time at the Brooklyn Waterfront. Being that it was the winter season, people in the park were offered hot chocolate as compensation for their time, which was extremely effective!
After receiving feedback from fifteen users "in the wild" we created a set of recommendations that the designer and developers could incorporate into the site. The final product was more easily to navigate and interact with, and the intention of the site was more visible to users as soon as they landed on it.
